Portable Flac Players
Check out our list of music players that play flac as well as mp3's. If you are looking for one with a large hard drive then you might want to check out the Archos 5 which comes with a 500GB hard drive and runs on Android. There are also some cheaper players that take SD cards that start at 29.99. There's no excuse to settle for mp3 quality. If anyone has any suggestions on other flac music players please leave me a comment with a link.

Not a very good SBD
This is a really flat, one-dimensional sounding SBD. Poorly mixed as well... the bass is barely audible, drums are very loud. It almost sounds like a mono recording? Too bad because it sounds like an epic show.

Y2K did have a meltdown. It was a Rocky Mtn High @ the Fillmore
Epic, epic, epic... Sam Bush, John Cowan, Peter Rowan... Leftover Salmon, New Years Eve, y2k. of course, Monte is here.
I love to share the music. The purists hang out here too. They're into sharing lossless files only. They're the shn's, or shortens. Wanna get these shn's, and play them immediately, regardless? Me too. It's as simple as Jerry, Bobby and Phil fumbling lyrics in Truckin'. We do it all the time, and laugh, and love 'em some more. Just do this...
On the LMA home page, just above "Recently Reviewed Items", notice the "Information Resources" bar. Just below it, click on "How can I listen to SHN files?" The procedure for getting the shorten plug-in to work for you is easy. Once you get your shorten plug-in set, all these shns play perfectly. The folks at etree have this nailed down for you.
For all you players and musicians, here's a great tip. Ever want to have instant control over tempo, pitch, and/or speed, while listening to any of these tunes in Win Amp? Maybe you want to play along. Maybe you have tapes of your students, and you're an instructor. Maybe you're a student. Maybe you're trying to whoop Mark O'Connor. Get the "PaceMaker" plug-in. it's free.
